It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Jefferson Ivey of Farragut, Tennessee, who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, J. L. Ivey and Sue Cox Ivey. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen Clemmer Ivey; his daughters, Susan Johnston (Steve), Lisa Godwin (Rodney) and Diane Gregg; his grandchildren, Dr. Kristin Reed (Paul), Kirk Johnston (Andrea), Andrew Godwin (Susanne Tarovella), Brian Godwin (Paula), Russell Gregg (Carla Schmidt) and Travis Gregg (Becka Endicott); and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Isaiah, Stephen Johnston and Samuel Godwin.
