He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Allen and Wilma Simmons Allen; and his siblings, Bobbie Stevenson and Roger Allen. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Richardson Allen; his children, Jennie Dunivan (Jamie), Kerri Smith, Angela Kracke (Dean), Tina Burrow (Howie) and Barry Joe Allen (Karmen); his grandchildren, Jessica Worley (Aron), Dillon Dunivan (Sydney), Colton Smith (Brandy), Chad Rogers (Blake), Chase Rogers (Anne Marie), Matt Kracke (Bailey), BJ Allen (Jessica), Chandler Burrow and Courtney Burrow; his stepchildren, Anita Hill (Jerry), Doug Richardson, Billy Richardson (Missy) and Timmy Richardson (Lea); and his siblings, Laura Thorpe, Kay Holder (Don), Charles Allen (Debbie) and Dennis Allen (Judy). He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home (508 W College St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
