She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter B. Wells and Willne Moore Wells; her daughter Rita McDonald; her granddaughters, Brittany Buchanan and Briella Waller; her brother John Willie Wells; her grandmother Viola Wells; her uncle Charlie C. Wells; and her nephew Fawan Knott.
She is survived by: her children, Rosolyn Reese (Randy), Rena Buchanan (David), Ronnie McDonald and Retta Waller (Earlie); her sister Dorothy Wells; her daughter Shontail Wells; and her cousins, Ruby Bonner, LaRita Ridley, Angela Ridley and Darrell Jefferson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends, including special friends.
