He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Dangerfield and Gertrude Harper Dangerfield; his wife Lois Dangerfield; his daughter Marcie Hayes; and his siblings, Joe Lewis Dangerfield, John Dangerfield, Marie Edmiston, Herbert L. Dangerfield, Eugene Dangerfield, James "Jake" Dangerfield and Willie "Duke" Dangerfield.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Dangerfield, Darrell Dangerfield (Odessa) and Vanessa Holmon; his grandchildren, Sha'kiera Dangerfield, Shayna Dangerfield, Bianca Durham (Ulysses), Sieara Ashby (Jonathan), Kierra Dangerfield, Cameron Dangerfield (Heather) and Xavier Dangerfield (Kassie); his stepgranddaughters, Sierra Rogers (Keith) and Ebonni Thomison; and his sisters, Josie M. Young and Bessie Bean (Johnny). He is also survived by three Sisters-in-law; and many other relatives and friends.
