She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Gatlin and Velma Ray Gatlin; her husband Everette D. Smith; her grandson Brian Philip Smith; her siblings, Houston Gatlin, Mary Forbes, Edward Gatlin and Alma Jean Birdsong; her children, Tom Smith (Lynda) of Columbia, SC, Phil Smith (Debbie) of Fayetteville, TN and Darlene Hall (Mike) of Dellrose, TN; and her grandchildren, Thomas Smith, Jennie Smith Dollar (Tony), Christian Smith (Kelly) and Stephanie Hall Coble (Jeff). She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
