She was predeceased by: her husband John Lanier Gill; her son Kenneth Lanier Gill; her grandson Caleb Gill; and her parents, Annie Catherine Tucker Thomas and Clayton D. Thomas.
She is survived by: her son Keith Gill (Cindy); her grandchildren, John Gill (Lacey), Brian Gill (Rachel), Clay Gill, Coy Gill and Emma Gill; her great grandchildren, Arthur, Jameson, Ivy, Cayson, Freya and Evelyn; and her siblings, Ronald Thomas (Pam), Dale Thomas and Shirley Sowell (Wally).
Years later, during the COVID pandemic, she lost her husband of 60 years, her father, and her best friend in six days. And still, Etta Mae continued to love.
