He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnnie O. Groce and Susie Obelene Wagster Groce. He is survived by : his wife Rhonda Ann Leverette Groce; his children, Tonya Miller (Daniel) of Lynchburg and Lee Groce (Tara) of Fayetteville; his brother Randy Groce (Teresa) of Murfreesboro, J. L.; and his grandchildren, Kallie Baker (Jacob), Rylee Groce, Kinsley Miller and Landon Miller.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (1802 Madison St, Shelbyville, TN 37160).
