He is survived by : his wife Vonnie Hightower Shelton; his children, Jada Miranda Shelton (Marc Carr), Daniel Shelton (Kecia) and Brandon Shelton; his grandchildren, Sariah Shelton of Madison Shelton, M. J, Carr and Rivers Shelton; and his siblings, Bennie McGee, Becky Shockley (Ron), Harold Shelton (Kathy) and Randall Shelton (Gayle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
