It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian Louise Simpson of Fayetteville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rufus Watt and Wilma Louise Twitty; her husband Frank Nelson Simpson; and her brother-in-law Jerry Dunivan. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Simpson (Barbara) of Fayetteville, TN and Mike Simpson (Beverly) of Union Grove, AL; her granddaughters, Teresa Eakin (Josh), Carrie Stokes (Jeremy) and Megan Cooley (Scott); her great grandchildren, Julie, Bekah, Ella, Ethan, Tessa Kate and Graham; her sister Frances Dunivan of Petersburg, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Harsh of Gallatin, TN and Kitty Davis (Jimmy) of Arab, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home (508 W College St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
