She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Taylor and Fannie Mae McCool Arnold; and her husband Phillip Pitts. She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Anne Hicklen (Daryl); her grandson Jordan Shields; her stepgranddaughter Jessica Hicklen; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jlegna Goodwin and Jeremy Travis.
