He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Whitehead and Atta Lee Whitehead. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Sandra Klug Whitehead of Finger; his sons, Kenneth Wayne Whitehead, Jr. of Jackson, Scott Whitehead of Chicago Heights, IL and David Whitehead of Chicago Heights, IL; and his sister Rebecca Whitehead. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
