We announce the death of Bobbie Anderson of Finley, Tennessee, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 96. Bobbie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wade Morgan and Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Coleman Morgan; her husband Charles A. Anderson; her granddaughter Laura Anderson Ellis; and her daughter-in-law Louise Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Anderson (Sherry) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Janice Baker (Alan) of Rosemark and Melba Moore (Steve) of Trimble, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Mandy Cogdill (Kenny), Lori Finley (Bryan), Stephen Moore, II (Kayla), Joli DeLaughter (Aaron), Jason Butler (Melanie), Kelli Woodall (Brian Steven), Brian Butler (Mischa), Amy Baker and Erin Taylor (Barak). She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059).
The family ask that memorial contributions be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
