It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Dewitt Simpson of Finley, Tennessee, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnny Thomas and Mamie Lou Essary Simpson; his wife Janie Simpson; his sons, Bubba Wayne Simpson and Denny Glenn Simpson; and his sisters, Elsie Dial, Geraldine Carroll, Virginia Flatt and Agnes Lawson.

He is survived by : his children, Brenda Klaff and Danny Simpson of Finley; and his brother Bob Simpson of Richwoods. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
