He is survived by: his close friend Lucy; his daughters, Dee Viar of Barnhart, MO and Jennifer Viar Young (Jamie) of Halls, TN.; his siblings, Cecil "Buddy" Viar (Shirley) of Dyersburg, TN, Faye Porter of Humboldt, TN and Brenda Thurman of Miramar Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Trey Bond, Katelyn Viar and Anna Viar; and his great grandchildren, Serenity Bond and Richie Bond.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dyersburg Funeral Home (420 US-51, Dyersburg, TN 38024).
