He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Mary Kathleen Holt Smith; his wife Shirley Kelley Smith; his daughter Renita Smith; and his siblings, Mary Jean Cook and Don Allen Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jamie Warden (Charles) of Finley, TN and Linda Smith (John) of Dyersburg, TN; his sister Janie Smith of Finley, TN; his grandchildren, Samantha Rudd (Brandon) and Elisha Hall (Bryan); and his great grandchildren, Seth Bryson, Bricelyn Rudd and Ava Pridmore.
