She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ora Manda Rusk Joiner (Buford Clarence Joiner) and Jeanette Rosanell; her sons, Dwight Cox of Florence, AL and Danny Cox of Five Points, TN; her brother Harvey Joiner of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Cox, Isaac Cox, Seth Cox, Foster Cox and Fletcher Cox; her great grandchild Emmy; her husband Yearl Kirby; and her siblings, Marvin Joiner and Bernice Nesmith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loretto Memorial Chapel (110 N Military St, Loretto, TN 38469). She lost him to COVID in October of 2020.
