He is survived by : his wife Judith "Judy" Sower Bailey; his children, Eddie Darrell Bailey and Elizabeth Adams of Flag Pond; his grandchildren, Dakota Adams and Rhealyn Adams; and his siblings, David Bailey (Patty) of Erwin, Terry Bailey (Kathy) of Erwin, Nancy Chandler of Erwin and Leisa Hampton (Tommy) of Erwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
