She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha Silvers and Nola Roberts Silvers; her husband Coy Rice, Sr.; and her siblings, Johnny Silvers and Pauline Silvers Waldrop.
She is survived by: her sons, Coy Rice, Jr. (Geraldine "Geri" Chandler) and Terry Rice of Flag Pond; her grandchildren, Amanda Rice Widrig (Michael), Matthew Rice (Shelby) and Elijah Thomas Rice; and her sisters, Irene Ray, Marie Rice (Herman) and Alda Edwards (Jimmie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
