She was predeceased by : her parents, Horace Fender and Martha Edwards Fender; and her husband Smith Hoyle. She is survived by : her son Jimmy Lee Hoyle of Flag Pond; and her siblings, Darrell Fender (Janie) of Burnsville, N. C., Kathleen Holt of Thomasville, N. C. and Geraldine Ramsey (Harlan) of Mars Hill, N. C.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
