She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Bailey and Pansy Jewell Bailey; her husband Robert Benny Edwards; her stepson Robert Edwards; and her siblings, Charles, Wesley, Dennis Bailey, Norma Jean Williams, Glenda Ledford and Lisa Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Sams of Flag Pond, Timothy Sams of Erwin, Penny Williams of Flag Pond and Candice Metcalf of Flag Pond; her great grandchildren, Sophia and Piper; and her siblings, Robert Bailey, Ballard Bailey, John Bailey and Belle Williams. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
