Though Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter James and Barbara Jean Harrison Long; and his son Joey Parker. He is survived by: his wife Minnie Long; his daughter Nakoal Long; and his brother Robert Long. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
