We are sad to announce that, on December 19, 2025, at the age of 82, Lyda Smotherman of Flintville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Alice Michael Woods; her siblings, Paulene Walden, Gordon Woods, Clyde Woods, Clifford Woods, Lester Woods and William "Shorty" Woods; and her grandson James Williams, IV.
She is survived by: her children, Tabitha Williams (Andy), Terry Whitsett (Irene), William Whitsett and Paul Whitsett (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Tim, Kim, Terrie-Lynn, Patrick, Cassie, Julia, Harley, Brianna, Jordaan, Brandon and Jenness; and her sister Faye Colvett. She is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren.
