He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lee and Nina J. Lindsey Hatley; his wife Mary Lou Hatley; his son Ricky Lynn Hatley; his siblings, Sara Bradley, I. B. Lee, Joe Hatley and Millard Hatley; and his grandson Jeremy Lee Hatley.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Wilbanks (Wesley) and Patrick Lee Hatley; his grandchildren, Luther Hatley, Chasity LeAnn Hatley, Levi Hatley (Abby), Austin Skelton (Brianna), Colin Skelton, Caiden Wilbanks (Bella Ridiner) and Baylin Wilbanks; his close friend Sherill Simmons; his sister Mary Ann Mayes; and his caregiver Sherri Hatley. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
