He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Arnold and Mary Graves Arnold; his daughter Lynda Dawn Arnold; and his sisters, Frances Young and Elizabeth Kitchen.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Newsom Arnold; his daughter Melissa Adams; his siblings, Harmon Arnold (Cathy), Verlynn Mobley and Shelia Evans (Bob); his grandchildren, Michele Adams and Deanna Johnson; and his sister Joy.
