She is survived by: her children, James Bennett Short (Patricia Morris Short) of Ridgefield, CT, Susan Carey Short and Katherine Short Simpson; and her grandchildren, William Bennett Short, Benjamin Morris Short, Emma Katherine Simpson and Clayton Boyd Simpson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church (435 Main St, Franklin, TN 37064). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
