She was predeceased by: her husband John Francis Benick (Buddy); her parents, John Herman Pannell, Sr. and Jewell Inez Pannell; and her siblings, Judy Hester Vopel, Shelby Jean Couch, Rhonda Renee Davis and Herman Pannell, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Montgomery (Jim), Chris Benick (Kay) and Carmen Benick; her grandchildren, Josh Prichard (Megan), Eric Benick (Tawny), Emily Brewton, Alex Benick, Kate Barnes and Evan Barnes; her great grandchildren, Jonas Prichard, Mackenzie Fox, Emery Prichard and Miles Erwin; and her sisters, Sandra Pannell and Shirley Nicholson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
