It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan German Holt (Franklin, Tennessee), who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Dan German departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dan German. Though Dan German may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Antonia Jane Holt; and his parents, Wade Holt and Vera Mae Smith Holt. He is survived by: his children, Danny Holt, Robert (Rick Landon) and Susan Beard (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Gunnel, Jason Gunnel (Emily), Joshua Gunnel (Callie), Jeremiah Gunnel (Andrea) and Shellie Gunnel. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Gardens (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064).
