It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Roland Rigney of Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orien B. Rigney and Eleanor C. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Becky Rigney; his son Travis Rigney (Christina); and his siblings, Brian Rigney (Beth), Dan Rigney (Holly), Renee Cobb (Patrick), Wendy Salman (Pete), Denise Villwock (Jeff) and Doug Rigney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; a grand niece; two grand nephews; and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
