He is survived by: his father James Edward Sokol; his sons, David James Sokol Jr. and James Edward Sokol II (Modesty Tanksley); his siblings, Mark Alan Sokol (Sandra), James Michael Sokol and Sandra Sokol Kiger (Chris); and his grandson Axel Rhett Sokol. He is also survived by four nieces, four nephews.
