He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Herman Trout and Elizabeth Adelle Barnes Trout; his wife Elizabeth Darnell Trout; his son Ricky Trout; and his siblings, Lillian Smith, Pauline Hamilton, Bobbie Taylor, Elizabeth "Beth" Meadows, Margaret Helen Trout, J. B. Trout, Glenn Trout and Billy Frank Trout.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Daughrity (Ricky) of Chapel Hill, TN and Terry Trout of Murfreesboro, TN; his daughter-in-law Gail Trout of Holt's Corner Community; his brothers, Jerry Trout of Chapel Hill, TN and Ronnie Trout (Annette) of Chapel Hill, TN; and his grandchildren, Melissa McClaran (Davy), Karen LeMay, Brad Trout, Leanne Burnham (Rick) and Andrew Trout (Caroline). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
