With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ethel Louise Ladd McGee (Franklin, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Ladd and Mammie Lee Mangrum Ladd; her husband Carl Edward McGee; her son Michael Ladd McGee; her siblings, John Thomas Ladd, Sarah Elizabeth Brown and Dorothy Lee Stoner; and her siblings-in-law, Christine Lankford Ladd, Maxie Brown and Everett B. Stoner.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah McGee Dempsey; her son-in-law Bob Dempsey; her grandson Adam Keith McGee (Lori Rathert McGee); her stepgranddaughters, Tina Sykes (Keith) and Tracy Coleman (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Charles William Sykes, Mason Michael McGee, Timothy Michael Coleman and Ella Grace McGee; and her sibling's children, Jim Ladd of Franklin, Lloyd, Ed Stoner of Indianapolis, Indiana, Annette Stoner of Indianapolis and Brenda Ladd Molasy of Franklin, Tennessee. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Gardens (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064).
