We bid farewell to Helen Lorene Cornelius (Franklin, Tennessee), born in Hannibal, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Helen Lorene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Clifton Johnson and LuElsie Elizabeth Johnson; her son Joey Cornelius; and her siblings, Alice Thomas, Judy Gattshall, Sharon Carrick, Bobby, Arthur and Don Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Christy Cornelius of Nashville and Dennis Cornelius of Ashland City; her grandchildren, Ross and Morgan Cornelius of Greeneville, TN; her brother Elvin Johnson of Jackson, CA; and her pet Bella. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
