He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Crosslin Davis; his parents, Arthur Davis and Ruby McKnight Thompson; his brother William A. "Buddy" Davis; his son-in-law James Henry "Jim" Wauford, Jr.; and his grandson Michael Davis Wauford.
He is survived by: his children, Henry Gregory "Greg" Davis, Jr., Diane Davis Wauford and Susan Davis Smith; his grandchildren, William Davis (Lia), Katherine Vaughn (Seth), Mark Wauford, Davis Smith (Kari) and Sara Hale (Gerrit); his great grandchildren, Aiden, Annalee and Lane Davis; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, James Smith, Logan, Jacob Hale, Levi and Patrick Vaughn.
