He was predeceased by: his parents, Iverson Denney and Mary Alma Denney (Story); and his brothers, Dickie Denney of Fayetteville, GA, Vernon Denney of Riverdale, GA and William Lawrence "Bill" Denney of Albany, GA.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann Denney (McIntyre); his children, Laura Bradford (Denney) and Brian Iverson Denney; his daughter-in-law Samara Denney (Bell); his grandchildren, Gabriela Grayce Denney and Jaidyn Brooke Denney; and his siblings, Norman Denney of Albany, GA, Terry Denney of Senoia, GA, Denise Peavy of Hogansville, GA, Brenda Green of Douglasville, GA and Renee Martin of Sharpsburg, GA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital—causes that reflect his compassion and lifelong concern for others.
