He was predeceased by: his parents, Dirk Veltman and Akke van Dijk (Agnes); and his siblings, George Veltman and Evelyn DeVries. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Veltman; his daughter Tonja Hibma (Edwin); his siblings, Tena Bom, Peter and Joe Veltman; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Nathan), Christine (Daniel) and Jonathan. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
