With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Oliver Gillespie (Franklin, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father S. O. Gillespie; and his brother-in-law Rickey Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Ida Anita Watson Gillespie; his daughter Heather Gillespie Thompson (Robert); his stepdaughter Ashlea Marcha; his siblings, Carol Barnhill, Randy Gillespie (Barbara), Kaye Johnson and Kim Mynatt (Scott); and his grandchildren, William Dalton, Keeley Ann, Lena Evelyn and Amelia Rose Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
