She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul D. McMahon and Virginia Inman McMahon; her son David Lee Hawkins; and her brother John McMahon. She is survived by : her husband William Raymond "Bill" Hawkins; her daughters, Donna Hawkins Shapiro (Jim) and Jennifer Hawkins Duffey (Cliff); her grandchildren, Sara Sanders (Ian), Chris Shapiro (Christy), Matt Shapiro, Chase Duffey and Sutton Duffey; and her great grandchildren, Maddox Sanders, Finley Sanders, Oliver Shapiro and Nathan Shapiro.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Jo Anne's honor.
