She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dunn and Ruth Snow Dunn. She is survived by: her significant other William "Bill" Mitchell; her children, William J. Mitchell of Franklin, TN, John Ross Mitchell (Abby) of Franklin, TN and Julia Mitchell Peeler (James) of Franklin, TN; her grandchildren, Cory Mitchell Bambic (Dustin), William E. Mitchell III, Katherine Mitchell, Emily Peeler Williams (Jerodis) and Allison Peeler Brown (Brady); and her great grandchildren, Jude, Ruby Bambic, Ellie James and Josie Williams.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALIVE Hospice, in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided.
