He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Ringer and Mary Jackson Ringer; his siblings, Jerome Ringer and Peggy Harley; and his son Kenneth Ringer.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rainey Ringer; his children, Susan Waugh of LaGrange, Georgia, Clark Ringer (Erika) of Clinton, Mark Ringer of LaGrange, Richard Hancock (Ann) of Thompson's Station and Arthur Hancock (Leanne) of Chapel Hill, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Christopher Waugh (Heather), Roxanne Ringer, Justin Ringer, Andrew Ringer (Melody), Lindsey Warden (Donald), Erik Hancock (Lauren), Hunter Hancock (April) and Stephen Hancock; his great grandchildren, Joni, Everett, Blake, Mason, Brynlee, Emberlee and Zoey; and his brother Joel Ringer (Madeline) of New Orleans. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Franklin Community of Faith (506 Jordan Rd, Franklin, TN 37067). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
