He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Eaton and Anne Eaton. He is survived by: his wife Deb Eaton of Franklin, Tennessee; his children, Jenny Dyer (John) of Franklin, Tennessee and Jake Eaton (Nicole) of Brentwood, Tennessee; his siblings, Steve Eaton (Margaret) of Atlanta, Georgia and Libby Hutchison (Frank) of Atlanta, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Rhys, Olly Dyer, Wilkes, Rory and Emry Eaton. He is also survived by other loving family members and dear friends.

Flowers may be sent to the church, and memorial contributions may be made to Brentwood Academy in memory of Coach Mark Eaton.
