He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Elston (Schultheis); his children, Abraham Elston, Isla Rose Elston, Asher Elston and Asa Elston; his parents, Ann Black (David Black) and Joseph Elston (Suzanne); his sister Jacqueline (Craig Carter); his nephews, Grayson and Kellan; his stepsiblings, Nathan (Jennifer Givens, family: Michael, Thomas Black, Velma), Candy Givens and Jenna Black; his brother Tom (family: Rick, Charmaine Schultheis, Jim, Jackie Schultheis, Ed Schultheis, Lynette Shekell, Ken, Janet Schultheis, Don, Lisa Schultheis, John, Maria Schultheis, Beth, Jim Burger); his sister-in-law Janet Schultheis; and his pets, Bowie, Jovie, Saylor and Gus. He is also survived by family, Ken & Janet Schultheis and family, Don & Lisa Schultheis and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the education fund that has been created for Jody & Jennifer's four children to continue the education options that Jody worked tirelessly to provide so that his children could thrive.
