Karen Simmons Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ray and Wanda McCammack Ray; and her sister Kristie Hopkins. She is survived by: her children, Mike Simmons (Liz) and Mindy Higgins (Duane); her grandchild Parker Higgins (Ashley); her children, Anna Sirface (Adam), Cameron Higgins, Chris Kellar (Lesley Waters-Kellar), Savannah Simmons and Sean Simmons; and her great grandchildren, Lainey Higgins, Quinn Kellar, Riley Kellar and Noah Kellar.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hampton Gentry Funeral Home (106 Shaw St, Plainfield, IN 46168). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stilesville Volunteer Fire Department (IN) or to the Williamson County Volunteer Fire/Rescue - Station 22 (TN).
