She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hollis Martin and Telitha Louise Martin-Polk; her husband Thomas Lee Allen; and her siblings, Jimmie Cartwright, Dallas Pratt, Betty Reed and Janice Fortenberry.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Michael "Mike" Allen; and her stepbrother Thomas Polk. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
