She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Noah Poteete and Susie Lee Watkins Poteete; and her son Barry Giles. She is survived by: her sons, David Giles (Jane) and Allen Giles (Kristy); and her sisters, Willie Blythe Hood, Alma Jean Holland and Shirley Carpenter. She is also survived by nine Grandchildren and ten Great-Grandchildren.

Due to the Pandemic, you are welcomed to visit with the family at the Gravesite, mask required, but there will be no visitation inside the Funeral Home.
