She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Brown and Connie Phillips Brown; her husband Robert Henry "Buddy" Grimes; her son James Randall Grimes; her daughter-in-law Laura Warren Grimes; and her siblings, James, John, Bill, Joe Brown, Rena Brown and Joy Bagsby.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Grimes Acuff (Neil), Sandra Grimes Hamrick and Donna Grimes; her grandchildren, Brandy Jennette and Jackson Nichols; and her great grandchild Sean Darrow. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
