We are sad to announce that, on July 28, 2025, at the age of 88, McMitchen Dean Kirby of Franklin, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Floyd and Vallie Judd Kirby; his wife Judi Rust Kirby; his siblings, William "Bill" Kirby, Joyce and Royce; and his daughter-in-law Julie Kirby.
He is survived by: his children, Mitch Kirby, Darrin Kirby (Tina), Debby Perry (Andy) and Karen Goss (Ron); his grandchildren, Alex Perry, Clint Perry, Trey Kirby, Ali Goss Cunningham, Kendall Kirby Reasoner, Beau Goss, Annabelle Kirby, Lila Cate Kirby and Millie Kirby; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Perry, Maddie Perry and Cunningham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Page Robbins Adult Day Center, where people with memory loss can find joy in community and caregivers find support and resources.
