We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 88, McMitchen Dean Kirby of Franklin, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Floyd and Vallie Judd Kirby; his wife Judi Rust Kirby; his siblings, William "Bill" Kirby, Joyce and Royce; and his daughter-in-law Julie Kirby.
He is survived by: his children, Mitch Kirby, Darrin Kirby (Tina), Debby Perry (Andy) and Karen Goss (Ron); his grandchildren, Alex Perry, Clint Perry, Trey Kirby, Ali Goss Cunningham, Kendall Kirby Reasoner, Beau Goss, Annabelle Kirby, Lila Cate Kirby and Millie Kirby; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Perry, Maddie Perry and Cunningham.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Williamson Memorial Gardens (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Page Robbins Adult Day Center, where people with memory loss can find joy in community and caregivers find support and resources.
