With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merritt Lynn White (Franklin, Tennessee), born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Lynn White, Sr. and Altha Mae Mullins White; and his sisters, Ruth Harmon, Pat Hendrix and Lynn Poole.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara White; his children, Sherri Renee Moore (Mark) and Meshelle "Missy" Lynn Howd; his grandchildren, Robert "Bobby" Allen Simmons (Christina), Matthew Thomas Simmons and Meredith "Nikki" Nichole Warren (Nathan); and his great grandchildren, Chloe Simmons, Claire Simmons, Lylah Simmons, Adalyn Simmons and Kyler Warren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
