Mickey Matheson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mickey Matheson of Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent A. Y. Matheson; his son Micheal Ray Matheson; and his brothers, Leslie Edward Matheson, John Franklin Matheson, Richard Lynn Matheson and Dewayne Hamilton.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lorine Matheson; his children, Terry Wayne Matheson (Shawn) and Amber Nicole Matheson; his sister Charl Delouise Briggs; his grandchildren, Gabriel Stump, Vincent Matheson, Jolene Cates, Jade Norton, Paige Norton, Callie Norton and Pazlie Norton; his great grandchildren, Carson Mack, Oaklynn Mack and Marlow Norton; and his pets, Belle and Butter.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Cool Springs Missionary Baptist Church, 3213 US Highway 431, Spring Hill, TN 37174 in loving memory of Mickey "Mike" Matheson.
