He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lynch Woodside; his children, Stacy Vivrette (Jay) and Adam Woodside; his grandchildren, Emily Polk (Weston), James Parker Vivrette and Horace Clark Woodside; and his sister Jean McElhaney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
