She is survived by: her husband Jack Pullias Hamlett; her children, Perry Hamlett (Nancy B.), Connie Nichols (Dean) and Pamela Hamlett (Suayip); and her siblings, Walter Thomas Johnson, Fred Allen Johnson and Sandra Lou Cecil. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
